Alberta Childcare Subsidy | Pay as Little as $15/Day in Calgary

  The Alberta Childcare Affordability Grant is a provincial subsidy that reduces childcare fees for families across Alberta — regardless of income. As of 2025, eligible families at licensed providers like Bright Kids Daycare pay as little as $15/day for full-time care.

  After the Alberta Affordability Grant is applied, the parent fee at Bright Kids Daycare is $326.25/month. This applies to all three programs — Infant (12–19 months), Toddler (19–36 months), and Preschool (3–5 years). 

  No. Because Bright Kids Daycare is a fully licensed Alberta childcare centre, the grant is applied automatically when your child is enrolled. You do not need to fill out a separate government application or prove your income. Simply join the waitlist and we handle the rest.

  Any family enrolling a child at a licensed Alberta childcare centre is eligible — regardless of household income. The grant applies to full-time and part-time care. Your child must be enrolled at a licensed provider like Bright Kids Daycare for the grant to be applied automatically.
