JOB DUTIES
- Develops and executes enriched programs that align with curriculum goals, appropriate developmental practices, and the philosophy of the program.
- Guides children through activities such as storytelling, singing, introducing basic musical instruments, preparing and demonstrating craft materials, and fostering opportunities for artistic expression.
- Assumes a leadership role in the classroom, ensuring attentive supervision and interaction with children during all activities, including those in the classroom, sleep areas, outdoors, and on the playground.
- Observes and evaluates the needs of both individual children and groups within their environment.
- Enhances open communication, collaborates effectively as part of a team, and shares information consistently.
- Offers training and serves as a mentor for interns, temporary staff, and new team members.
- Addresses the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each child in the classroom.
- Prepares and maintains indoor and outdoor play areas for children’s use, ensuring the safety and proper functioning of toys and equipment, and performs necessary cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
- Engages in feeding, diaper changes, and toilet training routines, encouraging healthy and autonomous habits.
- Accommodates specific dietary needs of children.
- Carries out additional related tasks as needed.
