JOB DUTIES
- Designs and implements engaging programs aligned with curriculum goals, age-appropriate practices, and the program’s core philosophy.
- Guides children through activities such as storytelling, singing, introducing simple musical instruments, preparing craft materials, and fostering opportunities for creative exploration.
- Takes a leadership role within the classroom, ensuring active supervision and meaningful engagement with children during all activities, including classroom time, naps, outdoor play, and playground sessions.
- Observes children in their environment to assess individual and group needs, tailoring approaches accordingly.
- Encourages open communication, collaborates effectively as part of a team, and consistently shares and exchanges information to support program success.
- Provides guidance and acts as a positive role model for students, new team members, and supply staff through hands-on training and mentorship.
- Addresses the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of every child in the classroom, ensuring holistic development.
- Assists with meals, diaper changes, bathroom routines, and toilet training, while promoting healthy habits and fostering independence.
- Carries out additional related responsibilities as assigned to support the program and team.
