Infant Care
A calm, nurturing room where your baby's first experiences outside of home are met with warmth, intention, and deep expertise in early development.
A Room Built Around Your Baby's Rhythm
The infant room at Bright Kids is one of the most intentional spaces we've designed. We know that for parents, leaving a baby in someone else's care is an act of profound trust, and we take that seriously.
Our infant educators are selected specifically for their warmth, patience, and expertise in early brain development. Each infant is assigned a primary educator who gets to know their cues, routines, and preferences deeply. Care is responsive first, meaning we follow your baby's lead before we introduce anything new.
Days in the infant room are calm, sensory-rich, and led by your baby's own internal schedule, not a fixed timetable. We mirror routines from home wherever possible so that every transition feels familiar and safe.
A Day in the Infant Room
Every moment is purposeful. Here's what your baby experiences in our care each day, not according to a rigid clock, but woven naturally through their individual routines.
Responsive Caregiving
Every routine, feeding, napping, diapering, soothing, is built around your baby's individual schedule. We work with families to mirror home routines so transitions feel seamless, not jarring.
Language & Communication
At this stage, first words and simple phrases are emerging fast. Our educators narrate daily routines, sing, read aloud, and respond to every word and gesture, building vocabulary and encouraging your toddler to communicate their needs.
Sensory-Rich Play
Textured toys, sensory bins, water play, and hands-on materials give toddlers the sensory input they need to build neural pathways at this critical stage. Play is science, and we treat it that way.
Secure Attachment
We intentionally limit the number of adults an infant interacts with each day. Consistent caregivers build trust and security, the foundation on which all future learning is built.
Movement & Motor Skills
From steady walking to confident running, our infant space is designed to support this active stage of movement. Open floor areas, low shelves, and safe climbing surfaces encourage confident, independent exploration.
Nutrition & Feeding
Toddlers at this age are building independence at mealtimes, self-feeding with fingers and utensils, and joining family-style meals. Our kitchen serves age-appropriate meals daily, always following your guidance.
What Your Baby Is Building
The infant months are among the most critical windows of human development. Our program is intentionally designed around what neuroscience tells us matters most in the first two years of life, and we track each milestone in partnership with families.
Emotional Regulation Foundations
Learning to feel safe, soothed, and understood, the bedrock of all future emotional health.
Independent Exploration
Confidently walking and beginning to run, toddlers at this age are exploring their environment with growing independence.
Emerging Language & First Words
First words, simple phrases, and understanding basic instructions form the earliest layer of real communication.
Fine Motor Development
Stacking, scribbling, turning pages, and using utensils, hand-eye coordination that builds with every play experience.
Gross Motor Milestones
Walking, climbing, kicking, and building toward running, each milestone supported at the child's own pace.
Social Awareness
Beginning to imitate others, show affection, express preferences, and take interest in playing alongside other children.

The People Who Make This Room What It Is
Our infant educators aren't just qualified, they're specifically selected for the qualities that matter most in an infant room: patience, warmth, attunement, and a genuine love for babies at this stage.
Every educator holds an Early Childhood Education certification and goes through an onboarding process that includes learning your baby's individual cues, preferences, and home routines before their first day. We also strictly limit the number of different adults your baby interacts with each day, because consistency is the foundation of trust.
